Terms of service

Edition of 30 Oct 2026. By using the service you agree to this document, the Refund policy and the Privacy policy. This is a translation: if the two versions differ, the Russian one applies.

1. Subject

  1. These Terms of service (the “Terms”) govern the relationship between the administration of the “Mailwave” service (the “Service”), operating through the website mailwave.net, the Telegram bot @mailwave_robot, the Mini App and the API, and anyone who uses it (the “User”).
  2. The Service provides digital goods and services: mailboxes on the Service's domains and on the User's own domain for receiving mail (including verification codes), reading mail in the webmail, over IMAP and through the API, and registering domains on the User's order.
  3. The Service is receive-only. Sending mail is not provided or supported.
  4. Goods and services are delivered electronically and automatically, without a seller's involvement. By starting to use the Service (signing in, topping up the balance, placing an order) the User confirms that they have read and accepted the Terms.

2. Account

  1. The account is created and opened through Telegram. The User is responsible for keeping access to their Telegram account safe and for all actions taken in the Service on their behalf.
  2. The User confirms they are at least 18 years old. One person, one account.
  3. API keys and mailbox passwords are the User's secret. Actions made with them are considered the User's actions.

3. Prices, payment and balance

  1. Prices are in Russian roubles and shown before an order is placed. The price of a placed order is fixed at that moment. Mailbox prices depend on the plan and quantity (volume discounts); domain prices depend on the zone.
  2. Payment is made from the internal balance. The balance is topped up through payment services (crypto, payment aggregators and other methods listed on the top-up page). Funds are credited after the payment service confirms the payment. A top-up invoice is valid for a limited time stated on the invoice.
  3. Fees and conversion rates are set by the payment services and may be reflected in the amount to pay.
  4. The balance is used only for purchases in the Service and bears no interest. Refund grounds and procedure are in the Refund policy.

4. Delivery

  1. After payment, mailboxes and login data are delivered automatically — in the cabinet, in the bot and through the API. Mailbox passwords are generated by the Service.
  2. The Service does not guarantee instant delivery during failures of payment services, registrars and mail systems, but it delivers what was paid for or refunds according to the Refund policy.
  3. The Service decides which pool domains mailboxes are created on. Names of shared-pool domains may be hidden in the public interface; domains are identified by numbers.

5. Domains

  1. A domain bought from the Service is registered with the registrar under the Service's account. The User may use the domain and its mail while the domain is paid for. Ownership of the domain is not transferred to the User.
  2. The expiry date and renewal price are shown in the cabinet. Auto-renewal works if the User has turned it on and the balance is sufficient at renewal time; otherwise the domain stops working after expiry and mail reception on it ends.
  3. Renewal of some (disposable) zones may be much more expensive than the first year; the renewal price is shown before purchase.
  4. A User's own domain is connected by proving ownership (a TXT record) and an MX record. If the records disappear, the Service may suspend mail reception on that domain until they are restored.
  5. The Service may disable a domain that receives well-founded complaints from rights holders or is used for unlawful purposes.

6. Rules of use

  1. It is forbidden to use the Service for spam, fraud or any unlawful activity, or to try to access other people's mailboxes and accounts.
  2. It is forbidden to create load that disturbs other users (excessive API, webmail or IMAP requests). Request limits are given in the API documentation and can be raised by a subscription.
  3. It is forbidden to resell access to a cabinet account to third parties.
  4. The User is responsible for how mailboxes are used when registering on third-party platforms, including compliance with their rules.
  5. For violations the Service may block the account and mailboxes. The cost of goods already used is not refunded.

7. Limitation of liability

  1. Goods are provided “as is”. The Service does not guarantee that a particular platform will accept an address on our domain or send a message: that is the platform's decision.
  2. The Service is not liable for blocks and restrictions imposed by third-party platforms after delivery, for the User's actions, or for indirect losses. The Service's liability is limited to the price of the paid order.

8. Changes

  1. The Service may change the Terms, prices and plans. The current edition is always on this page; new terms apply to new purchases. Continuing to use the Service means accepting the changes.
